Aimee Frier is the owner and creative director of L&C Artistry. She brings a unique blend of artistic passion and educational expertise to every program offered at the studio. Aimee earned her B.A. in Elementary Education, her M.S. in Reading Education, and later completed her Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Literacy and Special Education.

Over the past 15 years, Aimee has taught at multiple levels, beginning as an elementary school teacher before moving into higher education. She currently serves as a literacy professor where she teaches and mentors future educators, designs curriculum, and conducts research on reading instruction and diverse literature. Her classroom experience and academic expertise give her a strong foundation for designing engaging, age-appropriate, and literacy-rich art experiences.

At L&C Artistry, Aimee combines her background in education, her study of design and children’s literature, and her love for the arts to create a welcoming space where children and families can explore creativity, storytelling, and self-expression. From early childhood classes to summer camps and community events, her mission is to make art both joyful and meaningful—helping kids see themselves as readers, artists, and lifelong learners.
